Saxon pruning saw £1 at Homebase

10
Found 19th Jan
A national deal listed on their website.
Seem to be good amounts of stock around. (150+ in Worcester)
Good quality saw with 12 month guarantee.
Cheapest similar saws cost around a fiver in other DIY stores.
The only other pruning saw I saw in Homebase was Fiskars at £24.95p

a 12 month Guarantee for a chain that is closing? I will miss Tamzin right enough.
Does it work on Anglo Saxons, as well?? No pure Saxons around here to use it on.

Where is that Viking emoji when you want it??

Think you'll find they are re-branding most of their stores and not closing.
All Homebase guarantees are being being honoured by Bunnings.
For a £1 saw I doubt the validity of a 12 month guarantee would influence a decision to purchase.

Bunnings Profit Plan

Phase 1: Buy all Homebase stores and then close all of them
Phase 2: ?
Phase 3: Profit
I've not got a basket...
Useful for home amputations, when the NHS is totally screwed up.

Seems like they are going for a very different approach. In their first Bunnings store they apparently had a garden centre, dedicated DIY workshop area, café and indoor children’s playground.

Whilst some existing homebase stores are clearly too small for all of the above (suspect most will close as Homebase and re-open under the new name) if they follow this kind of approach and have some weekly good deals then I think they wlll get the footfall & sales will come....

I was completely joking by the way, you've got to look at what I quoted.
