these are lovely and a great price

Yes they are very nice and good value at 99p

How to make the cream sauce:

Ingredients:
100ml cream
200ml beef stock
Chinese soya sauce
1 tbsp white flour
Salt, white pepper

Instructions:
Swirl the boiling water or beef stock in a pan.
Add cream and thicken with white flour if preferred.
Season well with salt and pepper.
Serve the meatballs with the sauce, lingonberry jam and chips. There you have the perfect Swedish meal!

Home bargains sometimes have lingonberry sauce but if we haven`t got any we have cranberry sauce instead

Very nice. Heat

These are awesome

These are nice.

I love these meatballs.

These are very tasty, and represent excellent value - as when I eat them, I keep tasting them for hours after.

Chips??? You mean mashed potato, surely?;-) Chips with Swedish meatballs is about as authentic to Sweden as Tikka chicken massalla is to Indian cooking....

These meatballs are the dogs ********

The link in my first post leads to some more recipe ideas.

Love these with Ragu sauce (too lazy to make my own) and pasta.....yum! Great price, heat added

heat added, these are yum and we have them with either pasta and sauce or I buy that swedish meatball sauce from Sainsburys - yum!

These are yummy! I picked some up last week for 99p. We had them with homemade pasta sauce and spaghetti

Lovely with pepper sauce!

had these lastnight ... well worth the 99p ... gunna buy some more

Love these - good heads up!

Taste good but a little salty to me - anyone checked if the salt levels are a bit high for RDA?

For 100g, Sodium = 0.7g

To get Salt level, you multiply Sodium by 2.5, so 1.75g of salt per 100g

Hot!
Will have to visit Sainsburys just for these!

Are these free range or battery balls? :whistling:

freeze very well

These are quite often on offer at Sainsbury's.
Throughout the year, probably half of the time they will either be half price, as they are now, or BOGOF.

Always a cheap meal!

They've been this price for about 2 or 3 weeks now so i suspect they won't be for much longer...maybe this week they will go back up?

Might have to nip back and stock up the freezer then.......

These are the best meatballs I've ever had.
