Were £1.93 a pack, now down to a pound. These are just like Ikea meatballs and are absolutely scrummy! They can be eaten straight from the packet, but are much nicer hot.

"Our magnificent meatballs are PERFECT in pastas, stews, salads, pizzas and even as tasty snacks. And because you deserve THE BEST, we only use cuts of ETHICALLY REARED meat and other TASTY INGREDIENTS in our ADDITIVE-FREE and PRESERVATIVE-FREE meatballs. So go on, TUCK IN."

these taste very good

Agreed...really yummy. . when you open the pack though we found that they do smell quite strongly but once heated through they're very good.

Deeeelicious! Have some heat!

Had these last night! Amazing as a simple spag bol.

I agree - they don't smell good when you open them, but are fine once cooked!

i have never had meatballs!

Beefs up (or rather offals up) a pasta dish quickly and easily. We bought a couple of these and it's a good find - normally between £1.50-£1.80 so good deal - have some heat.

Not even Campbells when you were a kid?

I like two in my mouth at the same time.

Contains chicken, pork and beef. No thanks!

Isn't that meat?

I love these and so do my kids!!!

If anyone with inside knowledge answers this, please also tell where to get their tea bags .............PLEASE??

Those ASDA ones release more oil than the deepwater horizon disaster.

Well it's the traditional ingredients for Swedish meatballs. I'd … Well it's the traditional ingredients for Swedish meatballs. I'd personally rather spend the extra on Asda's Meatballs which are 94% beef and aren't precooked/laced with tons of salt to preserve them longer (and are really tasty). All I'm saying is if these were Feasters of Rustlers with mixed meat content then the deal would more than likely go ice cold...

nice in a sandwich with cheese and marmite

How many do you get in a pack of these?

enough for 3 people I would say, or 2 adults and 2 kids

Lovely. And any idea how long the offer will be on for?

How to make the cream sauce:

Ingredients:
# 100ml cream
# 200ml beef stock
# Chinese soya sauce
# 1 tbsp white flour
# Salt, white pepper

Instructions:

1. Swirl the boiling water or beef stock in a pan.
2. Add cream and thicken with white flour if preferred.
3. Season well with salt and pepper.

This is very cose to Ikea sauce, and we use cranberry sauce instead of lingonberry.

Mark

Agreed, they are yummy!!

When their on offer i always buy a few extra packs and throw them in the freezer

They sell it in a dried powder format in Ikea. Make it up like any dried sauce and you're good to go. It does say add loads of cream, I didn't have any so added a little bit of butter and milk and it was just the same as the stuff instore.

Bon appetit X)

i regularly have the asda turkey meatballs. they are really tasty.bought them by mistake , now have em once a week with dolmio. mmmmm

My ass becomes toxic.
Heat though...

These are fabulous, even my uber fussy son loved them!!
I had initially only bought one pack to try them- there are now 14 packs nestled snugly in freezer!!

Had these tonight! The price always goes up and down. I only buy them when they are a pound. Will try them with some homemade ikea sauce
