  • Within reach of the Arctic Circle, Scapa, part of the Orkney Isles archipelago is A 2015 addition to the Scapa range, the Skiren is a handsomely honey'd single malt Scotch whisky which has been distilled in the Scotch whisky industry's only remaining working Lomond Still! It was matured in first fill American oak casks, bringing plenty of vanilla and honey notes to the table. The name comes from the Old Norse word for "glittering bright skies"...ruled by the Elements. Perched on the Tranquil shores of Scapa Flow, the Scapa distillery is perfectly placed to look out upon the Ever-Changing seas and skies.
  • To survive here, Islanders have learnt to harness nature's contrasts and make the most of the gentler months when the Horizon is bright and gleaming. It is these light summer nights, when our home is bathed in Endless twilight, that have inspired the creation of this smooth, honeyed Single Malt.
  • Crafted the Orcadian way, our team of artisans pride themselves on using Traditional methods and skills honed over several generations. The result is deliciously Smooth, flowing with mellow fruits and Heather-Honey and bringing to mind Scapa Flow's natural sanctuary from the restless Elements beyond.

Which is best ?

Famous Grouse.
So is it any good? have tried so many no age statement drams and few have been any good.
A lot of my fellow Orcadians prefer this to Highland Park. Worth trying this one!
Actually having a dram at this very moment.
It may be nas but IMHO a very good dram. Have been drinking Scapa on and off for over 10 years and always like to have a bottle in my 20 malts collection.
Scapa was not easy to find until recently unless you visited the airport shops.
Hot from me!
