In Game instore they are selling Scene It? Box Office Smash with four controllers for the Xbox 360 for just £4.98.

These are new and reduced from £39.99.

They appear to be £8.98 on the game website but are out of stock.

Its worth it just for the 8 Duracell batteries inside!.. Also the four wireless controllers are really well made.

A great family game for easter!

I bought mine in the Oxford St branch btw. They had loads in stock.

none in either Portsmouth branch. Shame

Hot if you can find. Sadly I got mine from Argos. Could have used my reward points.

yeh i got this fro argos lat week for a fiver.
like the op said, you get 8 duracell batteries which are worth close to a fiver anyway!

Got one from argos the other week too! BUT.....
I got home and opened it and noticed some sneaky b**tard at argos had swapped out the duracells for some cheap make batteries but i couldn't be assed to complain even though i know it had been opened and swapped!!!

exactly the same happened to me - was obvious the box had been opened! not too bothered anyway - the controllers take ages to run out of battery life, even with rubbish batteries

Duracell! Energizer struck the deal with M'soft, I vote cold because of that lol

No seriously great find if you can get it since Argos is all out! Heat added!

none in Basingstoke

I got this the other day on the argos deal and have to say it's not actually that bad.
It's frustratingly slow in places, you don't feel like you're actually answering many questions, the questions start repeating really quickly and there's a bizarre point levelling system, whereby quite often the poorest player gets awards for "slowest answer" "least correct answers" etc and is gifted the victory. On the plus side, it's well presented and good fun for a party - and it rains gamerpoints on you...

Great price, but don't expect too much from the quiz as it's quite obscure in it's movie references and does repeat it's self.Got mine from Argos last week.

Like others have said, you're not guaranteed to get Duracells. I got Rayovac alkaline cells with the one I got at Argos - I wasn't actually of the opinion it had been opened though (even if there was some extra tape on the base), as I pretty much had to destroy the packaging to open it myself. Still a great buy though.

Game's ok, but seems to start repeating with the clips quite early on. Humour's of mixed quality, and it can be annoying. Particularly annoying is the way it nags you to press the buttons to continue if you take a 5 min break.

Good fun for a fiver, though.

Oops, dual post. That was weird.

We played this last night and quite enjoyed it. The scoring system is weird though. (as said already)

Where batteries appear to have been swapped out, its possible that the use by date on the original batteries had passed - so they put new ones in. Hence the low clearance price on this product. Still an excellent deal IMO. Heat.

I asked for Scene It, was told they were sold out, but they searched around and found a pre-owned copy of the "new" version for me. I didn't realize that the "new" version was Box Office Smash, which is the one I'd meant in the first place, lol. They told me they had sold out of the "old" version of Scene It for 5 quid.

Anyway, they sold me the BOS version preowned for 7.99, which isn't bad if you can't find the 4.98 ones. Worth asking about; note this was in the storeroom, not on the shelf (I think because the buzzers were just in a plastic bag rather than a box, but they had batteries installed).
