Oooh and a TV licence... See, I can be as pedantic and irritating as you!!
Do you list on the 02 priority moments threads that they need a phone??

Shouldn't be in freebies as you need to subscribe to Sky or virgin etc to get this so technically not a freebie. However have some heat op thanks for the heads up.

Touché (or should that be 'Touchy'?) Wasn't being pedantic. Was pointing out. You still a need £20+ a month subscription. Nice if you've got Sky1 though. A deal more than freebie.

If you've sky and didn't know about it, it's a bonus you can watch it now. I watched arsenal last night. Thanks, I didn't know about it. Cheers sky.

Definitely Touchy!! Got to disagree, as this deal is free to anyone with Sky 1 (Also entertainment pack on Now TV @ £4.99 per month or free with 30 day trials etc.)
Every freebie costs money somehow! If you have to apply online, you need internet connection. If it's a printed coupon, you need paper and ink etc. And the 100+ Priority moment deals that pop up every week need an 02 subscription. SFF needs a sky subscription. This is no different. I appreciate you taking the time to register to the site and comment on this deal though!

Well it was free to register, so I thought I may as well

You do not have to subscribe to Sky. Sky1 is available on NOW TV.

Thanks, reminder set

I pretty much exclusively watch football and WWE on sky sports. With this happening, along with the BT sports Champions league deal, I am hoping for a pretty substancially cut bill in the near future because this is ridiculous. I've got BT internet so at least I can watch that for nothing.

Cheers for the info... Another night of footy, the other half will be well happy !!!

spot on plenty of sites, watch all the 3pm games too, stuff $ky.

FC SCHALKE 04

Sky 1 is not on Sky Freeview - you have to have a TV package with Sky, which I don't - I just have the internet and line rental. Their internet service is pretty good to be honest.

I'm waiting for the fibre broadband which they've been damn slow at unrolling, and I live in London.

Wait a minute... isn't that what sort channels are for? Leave the regular channels for those of us that aren't interested.

Sport obviously. Dumb phone.

Which needs a £5 Now TV entertainment pass.

This is a big kick in the teeth for all sky sports subscribers

Something to do with the BT Sports contract?

Record it and watch it later. Then no TV license is required.

Freedom90

Something to do with the BT Sports contract?

Possibly. Perhaps they will hope it stops people ditching Sky and getting BT Sport instead when the BT Sport Champions League contract starts?

A shame they aren't showing the Chelsea match though, I guess that would upset too many Sky Sports subscribers?

Rubbish. You still need a tv licence in your example.

wrong. recording live tv requires a licence

as said above, isn't free if you have free view so isn't freebie.

also, as said above, stream the sodding thing and don't give your money to the corporate b@$tards. Search Google for wiziwig.

Is that an invitation?....what a fantastic idea. I shall see if I can fit that in between mugging old ladies, burgling convents, eating the occasional small child, hacking the odd celebrity phone and watching a football match every now and again with a 3.00pm Saturday kick off time via a legal website.

The website may be legal, but the streams aren't. Why would Sky bother paying so much for broadcasting rights if they could just air a stream from some other company?

And yes, I missed "you" out of my original reply. Congratulations on the joke.

If you'd have simply made your point about football streaming, which of course is a valid argument, and hadn't been so sarcastic, I wouldn't have responded in the way I did. I am aware of the legal arguments and the grip Murdoch has on Premier League football in the UK. Forgive me if I have little sympathy with the way he runs his media empire.
