I did the same 4 years ago when i blocked paved my drive , (90sqm) didn't want to hire as doing the project over a couple of weeks . sold the wacker on eBay for same as i paid for it .

I'm pretty sure there's a big difference in terms of effort in using one of these and repeatedly lifting a weighty sledgehammer up over and over for a period of time.

is the electric one better value at £100 cheaper or does the petrol one outweigh the benefits

Beware on compaction force, along with the weight, Scheppach is 57 kg and 11kN, while Hulk is only 5 kN ( couldn't see the weight of it)

Just ordered one of these.

Have jobs to do at 3 of our houses so will work out better then hiring.
Arrived today.

Works well.
