Looks good, but weight is 8.3kg - isn't that a bit hefty?

I've only used electric in the past, so I'm tempted to try this but not sure it would be manageable up a ladder and stretching out at that weight?

That is quite heavy. I have the 2-stroke Stihl Combi unit and with the hedge cutting attachment it weighs less than 7kg, and that gets heavy by the end of the day. This one is a lot shorter though, so as long as you are not stretching too much it should be ok for small hedges

It’s very light to be fair when you factor in the 600m blade length
