does anyone know if this led compatbile?

As I understand it, it's not a case of this being compatible with LED but the other way round. The majority of (particularly cheaper) LED lighting is not suitable for use with a dimmer switch - The boxes of the bulbs are usually marked accordingly. This switch can be used no probs with LED lighting that is suitable for use with dimmer.

I've recently replaced my Halogen bulbs with dimmable LED ones, but sadly the dimmer didn't work.

In search of some assurance that this product would work with dimmable LED bulbs, I've just found the same Schnieder dimmer here:
etcelectrical.co.uk/sch…tml
However, it has the disclaimer "Please note this dimmer is not compatible with LED lamps."

You'll need to be another Led dimmer module in the switch (such as varilight pro) as the minimum loading on a 400w dimmer is probably only 60w and unless you're dimming 12+ 5watt led lamps then they'll start flashing (as well as needing LED dimmable lamps)

I think you have to have both a compatible dimmer and LED bulb. I think the dimmer has to be a trailing edge one for LEDs iirc.

I've bought these Schneider dimmers and replaced the module with a varilight pro - best of both worlds (looks great and led dimmable)
