Please note item 6029676 has previously been on sale at £318.72
So they have put it UP for the sale ;-)

And how come it has a R.P. of £749.95, Schreiber is just a name Argos bought when MFI collasped, and now use on any Argos and Homebase furniture.
I am not saying it is a bad deal, and have not voted either way, but I thought these ficticious R.P. has been banned and items had to be sold at higher prices for 28 days in the last 6 months

Make sure the boxes the furniture is delivered in will go through your doors..
otherwise Argos delivery men will leave it in the garden..
I sent my order back and will never use Argos /Homebase again because of the delivery guys attitude..
I had a sofa delivered in a cardboard box..great for transport but unless you live in a castle it wont go through
doorways and HEALTH and SAFETY doesnt allow them to take them out of the box or move them after you
take them out of the box...
Just double check first..

Great price.

I have the smaller version with 6 chairs, and slightly smaller width, for our kitchen, bought from homebase. I was very impressed with the quality and it looks very nice too, The faux leather seat cushions are reasonable and comfortable. We've had for about 3 months and no complaints. I think that the price is pretty good, and the fact that it was lower earlier shouldn't make that much different, as if you wait, then it may not be in stock.

Is this the same as the Oxford table which is cheaper at £299 with 8 cream or brown leather effect chairs?

Table seems to get good reviews

I had a look at this table as it was on display in argos fforestfach swansea. It was ok I suppose, did kinda look a bit cheap though.

Oxford is the £299 one, this is the £749.99 one X)

anyone know how this extends, do the sides slid eunderneath?

Hmm yes the chairs are obviously different but i think there is one oak table which is shown as the oxford Oak table. It is £299 as half price like the deal you posted

EDIT The RRP of £750 is not very realistic i am afraid though as this is cheap grade oak and small chairs having seen them now in store. Ok value at around £350 or so for 8 chairs especially but don't expect miracles at this price

Did you see how the ends connect?

Looks like they slot in when required so you would store them away when not in use
