Aw my nearest store is 68.6 miles away in Carlisle - probably spend more than the spice rack just to get there lol - hot though

Nice rack

Great deal,

Its scandinavian for value!

got one about 2 miles away from me might actually get that as love spices makes me

Tad chavvy for my tastes.

Anybody got a list of what's in it? Not so bothered about the rack, just wondering whether I'll get more than £17 worth of use out of the jars!

EDIT: To answer my own question...

Chives, Coriander, Basil, Ground Ginger, Thyme, Ground Cumin, Oregano, Curry Powder, Marjoram, Paprika, Rosemary, Ground Nutmeg, Parsley Flat Leaf, Whole Cloves, Sage, Ground Cinnamon, Mixed Herbs, Chilli Powder, Mint, Turmeric, Herbes de Provence, Cayenne Chilli Pepper, Italian Herbs & Mixed Spice

Looks like something my mom had on the wall in the 70's!!!

Looks good value tho, have heat.

My mum wants one for christmas. Couldnt find one anywhere. Nowadays most spice racks are a round shape. She wants one to sit flat against the wall. Netto here i come.

24 jars for £16.99 = 71p/jar = OK deal IF you'll use them all. otherwise you'd be better off buying them individually in the supermarket for not much more/jar.

Probably only a worthwhile deal if you really want the rack too.

Warm deal.

Nice rack

LOL, you beat me to it.

Thanks

Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole, go to an indian spice shop and get the real deal - alot fresher, bigger quantities and better tasting

Yep - the herbes de provence and the mixed Italian herbs from the Indian spice shop are amazing :whistling:

Watch out for the sell by dates on these. I had a similar thing a few years ago and ended up throwing most away with none or hardly any of the spices used.

% of UK spice rack owning population that actually use their spice rack regularly? imho low 10s I should think. this is just kitchen clutter! anybody who uses spices on a regular basis now has the fridge magnet ones.

still voted it hot for sihts and giggles!

Rubbish! I have used all the spices in mine except the marjoram which i threw out and replaced with mustard seeds. Can you please tell me your source of information that everyone who uses spices on a regular basis now has the "fridge magnet ones".

Yes and unless you make large quantities of curry, you end up with cupboards full of huge, burst, out of date bags of spices and a smell that you can't get rid of. I'll stick with my spice rack.

chances are 90% of these spices would remain unopened till the day i die. for that reason im going to pass.

I have been looking for a wooden spice rack for weeks now and ended up buying a smaller one on ebay - wish I had seen this earlier.

Good deal.

Because the other 90 % live on TV dinners because they cannot cook.
Families hate their Microwave Dinner with a pile of Paprika on top. :x
