Great price for this hair wax and even better if you're a student with 20% off at Superdrug currently so you could get this for just £1.60!!!!. Lowest price elsewhere is £2.70 at ASDA and it very rarely below that mark if ever.

Love the beach matt paste, haven't found a cheaper alternative yet and this is a great price for the whole range.

Try Savers, I've found stuff that's normally £3-4 in tesco for £1.49!

Savers tends to be the cheapest but you are still looking at £2.69 I think on my last trip. So £2.01 delivered is a bargain.

Okay cool, do keep checking there though because I've seen gels go from being £1.29/£1.49 one week, then £2.49 the next. When I see stuff cheap there I stock up now!

Has anyone used this for spiking? Does it leave a greasy finish or feel really overloaded?

I wouldn't like to day really, I tend to go for a kinda messy look and the beach matt paste is awesome, used correctly it doesn't look like you have anything in your hair at all.

For spiking I'd probably say to give their glue a go first, but it does set like rock solid, I personally wouldn't say it felt greasy or overloaded but I have reasonably short hair.

Thanks, I already use the glue. It's short round the sides with a mohawk type bit in the middle. I like the glue but it sets rock hard which isn't really a problem but sometimes I want a change! Thanks for the advice.

I'm no hair stylist, but providing it isn't a super high mohawk I'd be tempted to try the matt clay and maybe fix it with the hairspray (which is also very good).
