Lol says RRP is £85
The 'original' schweppes never had fake sugars
£85 for this is a rip off.
Yes it should be 85p reduce from £1.35p

But going through tills at 45p
Tesco still struggling to get own brand fizzy pops back in stock. My Tesco keep putting the branded ones "Scweppes/ Tango etc" in the place of their own brands on shelves, but leave the tesco brand price ticket there. So unless you really look, people think their getting the branded ones cheaper, and Tesco ripping us off not for the first time!
Went through at 85p for me

My tesco is doing exactly the same thing..unless you look at the ticket you wouldn't know. Wonder how much money they've made out of doing that!

Who says it's not a profit plan. Markup to gain additional profits. We know it secretly happens in Tesco.

Tottally agree. Leaving the tesco tickets in place (mistakingly)for a day or so is one thing, but a few weeks is unacceptable and out of order.
Same in Crosspoint, Coventry. Label says Tesco lemonade 45p but is actually Schweppes lemonade going through at 85p.
Drama.
My Tesco Express also had Schweppes Diet version for 43p, Original version for 85p.
However the Diet version is out of stock for nearly a month.
Tesco version is now instock online & instore

I had a call about this, from Tesco CS.

SO...The shortage of certain drinks is SAID 2B as a result of fire at the manufacturing plant. He said that the drinks (Everyday Lemonade in particular @ 17p per 2 Litres) will be back on the shelves by Mid August at the latest.

Nice to know-cheers. However, the tesco price tickets are still there under the branded pop.

Indeed Rich, and it tells me (told me at the time) that Tesco weren't gonna dump the "Everyday value sugar free lemonade" line coz it's a cracker of a drink @ 17p....used as a "through the night" drink, via my Contigo west loop travel mug (one of the best IMHO) fer keeping yer coooooool.

All the best.

Only yesterday (Monday) I was in the Old Amersham (London Road) Tesco store, and picked up 3 bottles of Schweppes Slimline Lemonade.

The shelf price was 35P, but I can't be 100% certain it was for this Schweppes product now, since when I passed through checkout I checked and found I'd been charged £1 each.

I got that sorted with a £3 voucher refund...BUT the taste? I prefer Tesco's "Everyday value" taste (and price @ 17p per 2Ltr) over the Schweppes, and I was told (called by Tesco CS) that the Tescos Everyday value sugar free will be back on the shelves MID AUGUST at the latest, so what...the end of next week?

Its great you're getting the difference or price mistake vouchers. I think my Tesco have forgotten about this policy. Im sure the CS counter dread me going up to them after getting 3 bottles of Bailey's free some years ago-and getting the full amount i paid for them back!!
