Just get yourself some whey powder from a dairy or bulk seller and add Nesquik - I prefer banana flava.

For your average punter these rippcore, maxcore, ultrabignob, massivec0k supplements are a total con.
I know i was a bodybuilder for 20 years and realised after a few years that i could get a 50 kilo bag of whey from my local dairy for free or the whey consortium for £30 - so many peeps are still being fooled by this nonsense - this stuff only helps if you are a proper bodybuilder eating 5-6 meals a day and spending 5 days at the gym using split routines and actually hammering it on the weights - forced reps , matrix system etc etc etc Cmon use yer noodle check those poncy names out - would you buy a powder from a guy called rippedcore or maxcore - soiunds more like a p0rn star

You want proof then check Arnie out - he used yer basic milk powder for years when he started and if yer genetics arent great yer never gonna get where you think you are going to go - Dorian Yates not!

Yer average punter just needs a bag of chicken or tuna.

Decent deal but probably the worst protein on the market in terms of flavour. Horrible stuff lol
I think there is another thread for this already.

Picked some up at the weekend. It's fairly high in carbs and Cal's but the stated portion is 2 scoops. Thinking about using 1 scoop will get you closer to a normal powder (giving 18g of protein). Does taste a little odd, like porridge or flapjack, but I've had worse.

Also had some fairly cheap preworkout and BCAAs around 5 quid.

I like the taste of Sci mx but I normally get my protein from my protein
Im on the vegan protein these days. There V-Gain product is pretty decent from what I have experienced. If that ever went close to this price I would stock up. Bought the £22.99 one from Amazon posted on HUKD a week or so ago.
It's 35% carbs to 60% protein. How is that low carb ? Poor deal when compared to something like pure whey or MP. For protein serving.
Is this instore only?
I've used this quite a bit in the past as a meal replacement and i'd say it was alright. Not sure about the '420% chance nobody who uses it is ripped' comment. It's obviously not a miracle cure to a 'ripped' body but its the same as any other protein on the market that with the right diet and training you'll get results (or maybe it's just a placebo to keep you motivated but it worked for me). I have only had chocolate and strawberry in the past though but at this price i'll take a look, i need some motivation to get back into things. Cheers OP.
Just updated tags title as it also has chocolate flavour and the hardcore version

Finally a sensible comment
The worst protein powder I have ever bought, powder is awful to mix in, taste like petrol, and nothing masks the flavour

Note: this was the strawberry meal replacement one

Great price. Personally I'm a BSN fan boy but can't grumble for that price.

"...ultrabignob..."
I've got to agree a bit with the previous posted about these protein powders being a bit of a con. I've been working ou for a number years and I've actually used variousoutotein powders along the way. I haven't bothered using them for some time now and still get the results that I want. If you have a reasonably good diet with protein in it I feel that you do not need to have this. Having said that for the price of it it's quite unbelievable I'm sure the last time I paid for a kilo in the shop that was £9.99 so this is good price but again I personally don't feel you will get huge results from it

Yeah I was there myself when i started working out , I used to buy a £40 tub of Maximuscle every week, 19-nor at £29 a pot, creatine, chromium picolinate , vanadyl sulphate for years before i got some advice from Porter Cottrell when I was in the States and wised up and started natural bodybuilding!!!

You are also correct - if you dont work that muscle all that extra protein is just excreted in your wee!
Does no one on here read Muscle and Fitness and avoid the ads?
Buy this stuff and watch all your money go weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

If you are a pro bodybuilder it will give you an edge but for the average punter its a complete waste of money and just another yuppie ripoff just the same as Creatine was when it first came out it just fills your body with water!

The sad truth is if you want to get big fast then anabol and others is the only way!

It reminds me of a couple of USN Products I used to sell (Anabolic and Dynamic) formulation looks very similar and tastes identical, but at a fraction of the price. Always going to be cheaper to buy bulk whey and carbs, or buy real food Yadda Yadda....where do you draw the line on that? Its probably even cheaper to raise your own chickens and grow your corn too.

The way I see it, 30 Post workout shakes for £13? Of course you could do better, but you could do hell of a lot worse too.

Think it's 74g of protein in 2 servings with this. Would cost a lot to do that naturally every day I agree

The point is your average gym punter isnt going to see much difference as the amount of exercise you need to do to destroy the muscle and absorb 80 grams of protein from whey is rather substantial - true its easier just to glug a protein powder but its expensive - a coupla cans of tuna and a banana are a lot cheaper!

I know guys at the gym who went nowhere as they used to smoke when they were in the pub afterwards - smoked joints which completely destroys any workout you will ever do by flooding you body with female hormones etc etc etc
This stuff is for the pros who need an edge and the truly big guys have a genetic advantage - most of us mere mortals dont have it and never will so wont see the massive gains you see advertised in poncy mags like Mens Health!

This is a money saving website so just trying to help others save dosh and avoid the gimmicks!
As you sold this stuff you must be laughing all the way to the bank.
I used to sell 50kg bags of whey from the whey consortium when it first started out to all the pros at the gym - they all gave up maximuscle when they found they could get the same gains from a £30, 50kg bag of industrial whey and were spending £39.99 like i used to on a 2.1kg tub of Maximuscle Cyclone or Promax!

Yes, I remember the WC and Ministry days, I know Steve. I never laughed my way to the bank at all, in fact quite the opposite, but the sad fact is, if you offer most gym users the choice between a top quality isolate that tastes, well, just like isolate should.... And some Vydex garbage that tastes like a McDonalds milkshake,( with possibly even less protein than the Mcd's!!) Even when you spell the difference out to them, they will choose the Vydex every time. I don't but the idea that the money would be spent better on real food either, you have to give the customer some credit - of course if their diet is crap it will do nothing, but it's not designed to "do" anything, it's just a convenience food, and anyone buying this should really have their diet in order, and be looking for something convenient, to fill the gaps or shortcomings where they can't work their real food in. I'll be sure to tell some of the guys from Muscleworks that they'll never gain any muscle if they have a spliff too
I have the chocolate one with milk and it's lovely!
No problem here with the ripped vanilla flavour, have it in a shake before and after training and is good to mix and tastes ok. I have my pure protein at other times of teh day on top of this
£22.99 for the 4.3kg tub as well.

True i can see where you are coming from , you and I know that 90% of those fannies throwing the weights around , thinking the gym is the place to pull and the only thing they pull is a hamstring cmon you know its true - they read a few Mens Health and think they know it all - i was in the game for 20 years and still hadnt learned as much as i could!
lol

I prefer natural bodybuilding, my total view of bodybuilding changed when I met Porter Cottrell in the states Zoidster.
Apart from the fact that you never know what is in these supplements for real - one corner shop was busted in Glasgow for selling Chinese clone stuff and it had stuff like talcum powder in it = no thanks Zoidster
I enjoy my food - very few of these powders tastes anything more than water with a flavour even if you use skimmed milk. Sticking a coupla tuna rolls and bananas in yer rucksack isnt much work it actually more hassle measuring out the whey then adding the flavour and then spending an hour slushing it around the gym mixing cup even if it has the little propeller at the top to mix it and not end up with a gobfull of nasty big whey chunks lol
You know I am telling the truth!!!
Then you have the stink when you leave it in yer bag for too long and having to washing it out - nah easier to make a tuna roll or boil a Farmfoods 1kg bag of chicken breasts, nice drop of salt on top and some pepper and its easy and tasty at the gym i dont go with the easier or convenient mantra for the supplements. Most supplements taste grim, the only one i liked was a grape flavour one cant rememeber the name now Pro-summat but it was ok and cheap at £19.99 for 5 kilos!!!

"Couple cans of tuna" would be alright if we freaking humans, wouldn't come with idea of doing wars dropping bombs like nuclear bombs, that turned our oceans into poison...yeap look it up...so when you say couple cans of tuna obviously that's a fable, as tuna it's the worst fish you can eat in such big quantities as it contains a lot of mercury, recommended dose it's about 100 grams per week. The best and more safe fish to eat are salmon, cod obviously there's more but this are the ones with more protein

I dont like salmon lol
Plus Tuna has highest protein content - any bodybuilder knows that so i take it you arent one!
Maybe you are one of those gym-fannies?

Please also learn to speak proper Engleesh meester and lookup what a fable is!
Coupla cans of tuna is a fable - no a fable is something completely different roflmao
And i dont need to look it up because i am relatively intelligent!
I take it you never read Aesops fables as a kid or went to school?
Dumbass

You also dont seem to know its only Bluefin tuna which has the highest content of mercury.
Light canned tuna, on the other hand, while providing only slighlty less protein than bluefin, has relatively low levels of mercury.
