I can't be the only person who would love one of these. Obviously I'd like it to be bigger but for £7.99 this is great. Next the Tesla coils...

Seems to be stock nationally

This amazing light show reacts to your touch and now also your sound making it great for placing on loudspeakers. Argon and Neon lightning bolts, also known as Plasma filaments, are projected from the centre electrode to the outer diameter of the ball. The electric conductivity of your hands or a finger on the outer ball will attract lightning bolts and create a spectacular effect. Use with batteries or the USB power cable included.

  • Includes plasma ball, USB power cord, full instructions for fast set up and use.
  • Now with sound reaction. Pulsates and illuminates to the beat of the music! .
  • Size H14, W9.7, D9.7cm.
  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
  • Suitable for age 6 years and over.
  • No wiring required.
  • Batteries required: 4 x AAA (not included).

Looks good for the price heat added, I got one from maplin it's a bit bigger, plugs in and has a setting to move to the music, it was about £20 but we'll worth it for a great gadget

there's 8" ones on ebay for £16. interact with sound too. this one seems to be tiny. must be if it's usb powered
stop posting stuff like this,i dont need one.....but i want one now heat
Always wanted one of these since I was a kid never ever got one... tempted now .. but this one looks a lil plasticky and smallish...
It's an ok deal, i've picked up similar from Tesco for a fiver in the past. Poor old Maplin, but I bought a really large plasma ball for Christmas and it's definitely the way to go.
Had the exact one and while it looked great when it worked, it didn't work for that long. Ended up only displaying the tendrils when physically touched.

Maybe mine was dodgy, for £7.99 it's not a fortune to risk.
