I've been looking for a couple of Crisp Scooters for my kids and came across this. They are all over £200 on ebay even though Dogg say the rrp is £199.95. Sorry it's not your usual Hotukdeals item i.e chocolate, pie or dvd but I thought it may benifit someone else whos kids don't sit behind an Xbox or PS3 all day long.
They also have a couple of dearer versions at which are more heavily reduced ,

and

Can anyone find it cheaper or even close to this price?

Ye dw too many paupers who will claim its no better than a £15 microscooter.
This will get the same reception as a bike that's > £1000. People see the price and realise they can get a product at a fraction of the price and vote cold.

This sort of product along with bikes never really gets heat unless its cheap crap at a cheap crap price which is unfortunate.
No idea if this is hot or cold but your slightly arsey description probably didn't help.
Oh dear. These Scooters are well over priced!
ohhh...r these made from GOLD?????????oO;)
some say we are in a ressesion or something ?
If your kid is just going to scoot around on it tearing up the neighbourhood then this is really expensive! These kinds of scooters are more for stunts and older riders, not a 6 year old to ride to school or the shops.

Horses for courses really. Same as bikes, yes you can get one for under £100 at Halfords but plenty of people of people spend more. A Robin Reliant does the same job as a Porsche....
I posted a Dogg Scooter deal before and it went stone cold! Yes you can buy £15-£20 scooters but this is not what hot deals is about, you cant buy this scooter cheaper so surely it's a deal irrelevant of price.
Personally would love my son to ride one of these, his scooter has cost me in excess of £400 but I would rather him out excersising then sitting in front of the Xbox
I added heat as it is a good deal for someone who wants to spend that amount and buy a high end scooter.

My 9 year old has £20 scooter and £75 bike and he gets as much exercise on those than something that was 3x the price! Prob even more because I don't care if they get bumped and scratched at that price. You don't need expensive equipment to be active!

Good deal....I'm looking for something like this for my 10 yr old to take to the skate park.

EDIT

Just ordered...Thanks for posting this Burty, it's a nice up grade on the MGP team I was considering at the same price.

Buy him a skateboard to take to the skate park scooters after the age of ten are a waste of time and looked down on by the bmx and skateboarder crowd, I see no value in a £200 scooter as you can dress up a turd all you like its still a turd.

He has a wtp trust BMX already....this is just something else for him to use at the skate park.
Good deal if that is your thing, but a condescending tone is never going to win you many fans. I have four boys who love their x-box and PC but are also very active with football, boarding and running, scooters just aren't their thing.

Not looking for fans, gave up kissing butt on here a long time ago. Dont really care about heat. I feel pleased that it has helped someone - good enough for me. This place is great in theory but its like a kids club with idiots trying to please ringleaders

not sure about that, in our area kids are riding scooters at the age of 15, my son is 13 and rides with all kids his age on scooters and they mix fine with the bmxers and skateboarders. The dearer scooters are better for doing certain tricks and stunts, you only have to do a you tube check for scooter tricks and see what age they are and the stuff they can do !!!!!
I can back up the person saying that they will get no respect from BMX and skateboarders, it's true. Still it's a free country and if they want to ride Scooters it's their decision. Hopefully it'll be a gateway hobby to either BMX or skateboarding.

How can you back this up, do you ride ? and why hopefully it will be a gateway hobby to bmx or skateboarding ?
just look at Terry Price on You Tube or go down Eastbourne skate park or any others in that local area and i think the fifty odd kids down there on scooters every weekend would argue with you.

Couldn't agree more, you can put whatever clothes you like on a turd - they will always be a turd. Not sure it applies to a scooter though?

I used to own a BMX and Skate shop, my passion was Old Skool BMX. Some BMX ers, Skaters and Scooter riders get on and some look down there nose at the others. Some do all three + Inline and enjoy all of the different challenges. It's like anything else in life even this site - some people can't help telling others what to do with their money or having an opinion on things they know nothing about.

What I can tell you from experience is that this shop are selling these Scooters at virtually cost price to them!

Talking out you @rse....My kid visits 3 different skate parks to BMX and one of them is predominantly scooters and in-line skates. The other seams to be mostly BMX and the other is mainly skateboard and BMX.

Cheers, I hadn't seen it.

I don't come on here so much anymore due to the Helmet to normal person ratio and I don't mean crash helmet. I can't believe people spend so much time Trolling about looking and commenting on things they have no interest in, they're just trying to belittle people who actually have a life. I feel sorry for them really, how sad must their lives be? Why should people have to kiss @ss when posting a deal? It's the people who post deals that make this site worth while not the cretins with their useless comments on peoples spelling, grammar and choice or expense hobbies.

I went to go and look at the deal, all I get now is an "Account Suspended" notice.
Cheers mate, great deal. ordered for my son who's been banging on for a MGP scooter for ages. To the average Joe the price of these things are mega expensive, but if you're looking for a top end scooter this is the 'daddy'. Dont be put off posting deals, you've just saved me a fortune and made a 10 year old's xmas!

I can back it up and yes I do ride. I've rode BMX for 9 years... I'm sorry but there is a lot of genuine hate amongst BMX and skateboarding directed towards scooters as it seems to be a craze that has taken off in the last 6 months or so and now the skateparks are rammed with these kids on scooters who have no idea about skatepark etiquette. I hope it'll be a gateway hobby because it'll bring more money into the bmx/skate industries which in the long run is a good thing.

The 50 odd kids is exactly the reason they're hated so much amongst bmx/skate. They fill the skateparks up and they have no idea about how to ride skateparks in a way that is sensitive to other users. It's established amongst more experienced users that before you drop in you have a look around and make sure you're not snaking some one else or getting in there way and you wait your turn.

I'm sorry but I'm not talking out my "****" as you so eloquently put it and I can guarantee that I know more about this world than either you or your child.

In what way did I get up tight?

The world I was referring to was the bmx/skate world, not the world in general. Apologies if that wasn't obvious.

My kids 2 scooters also came today, unfortunately 1 of them had a large chip on the deck about 15mm long ( not potato before some smart **** mentions crisp and or chips lol)
Brilliant customer servive, another 1's on the way already and they are going to sort collection of the damaged one. I felt a bit guilty complaining after the price I paid and after the fact they sent out 3 free magazines and 3 large sheets of crisp stickers, a free bracelet and some Dogg stickers.
I'm really pleased some of you found this post useful, it's a shame so many jerks that know diddle squat stop deals like this being so well seen by giving cold votes to products that are much cheaper than anywhere else. There coments don't bother me but they kinda stop this site from doing what it is meant to!

I'm sure it's different in certain areas, but scooters are just as technical and athletic as bmx and skateboards, what does it matter as long as there out having fun and excersising. Bmx and skateboards don't own the ramps they are for everyone!, I can back it up and yes I do ride. I've rode BMX for 9 years... I didn't mean to annoy anyone or reflect on the deal, hot or otherwise... I agree they're for everyone and don't have a problem with scootering itself, I guess it's just because it seems to be easier to get into than skate or bmx which have a longer learning curve just to get the basics and as a result of that you get a lot of people at skateparks that haven't developed a real skill base first.

Saw this video on youtube today which kind've sums it up with the cutting in and getting in the way:

youtube.com/wat…6Cs
received my scooter today, chipped corner of deck, tarnished paint finish to handle bars, scratches to finish on neck of deck! really disappointed with my 120 quid scooter, sent doggscooters an email looking for a replacement and explanation !! if its not resolved i'll be filing a dispute with paypal. I reckon they must have got a job lot of 'seconds' and have tried to pass these off as new, poor show doggscooters, i think i'll forward my email to the manufacturer too see what they say about the condition of these new scooters.

Replacement came today along with another free magazine and stickers, it was perfect. They also fitted the purple Crisp griptape for me to save me doing it. Brilliant customer service when my wife rang. We've spoken to them 3 times on the phone and can't fault there response, a proper friendly family run business. Judging the posts on hear, perhaps you need to calm down and give them a chance to sort things out before going on about PayPal refunds etc. I'd be very surised if they let you down. If they do or don't sort things out let us know, people are always eager to give poor feedback when they are upset but rarely follow up with praise when they get good service.
