Nice bike. Got it and a dream to ride. Definitely willing to buy that 1k £ bike in the future after trying road cycling. Also beautiful.
Great deal if its a suitable size but always wonder how such old stock suddenly appears. I mean a 2016 model was likely manufactured in 2015 that's 4 years ago. Are these forgotten about in some warehouse or did some bike shop go out of business and its existing stock returned to the distributor (sale or return)?

Also worth pointing out £395 bought more bike back then, what with inflation, falling value of the pound internationally and rising costs of production in the far east especially Taiwan I suspect a similar Scott bike today would not have a suggested retail price of £395 with a partially Sora groupset and what appears to be a decent spec frame. Also I think Scott frames are more likely to be made in Indonesia or Bangladesh nowadays but back then more likely to be coming from a Taiwanese or high end mainland China factory.
