links not working for some reason but a search for scott scale 620 on link page finds it

Good price and it even comes with pedals.
Fork alone is normally around £500.

Like all these things, you're better off riding it first...

I had a lovely aluminium rockhopper, full XTR / Hope groupset, got pinched and replaced it with a stumpjumper - hated it.

Point is, same brand, similar geometry, completely different bikes, I'd say try if you can first.

Otherwise, if this bike suits you, great price.

Only large

that bike is gorgeous,

how many kilos do you save over the aluminium alloy model? I hear that carbon forks can break when off road under severe pounding. Aluminium alloy is stronger.

great spec for price pity only large medium would have been handy.scales are really good bikes very fast.the frame alone costs near this amount and i do believe they have a decent bw limit to read 100kg somewhere.

Even for this reduced price to buy a bicycle is graziness. People who earn loads can just afford to splash their cash on silly lux items like that. For other people this money would be like a lottery win. World is a mad place.

If you bought this and sold it after 3 years the cost of ownership would be £100-150 per year, or £2-3 per week. Obviously the headline figure is pretty high but the actual cost is not great, less than a pint of beer a week.

I rather buy a HONDA VFR 800 FI for £750 insure it for £140 tax it for £60 fuel it for £30 service it for £60 still have some money left to buy a push bike haha haha

and my trainers cost £20.
It's not really a valid comparison. It costs me £200 a year to run my ZX6R but I wouldn't want to try and take it down a black run

expired they have only one

Medium, Large and Extra Large at Paul's Cycles for £1249.99 plus postage.

For me, the 630 (SRAM instead of Shimano) is a better package at £1049.99 plus postage. Hourses for courses though.

Check out the direct comparison here.

Thank goodness for that! We've been saved from the "what no pedals?" squad that camp out in most of the bike threads!

There's not a lot in it TBH.
This model weighs just 10.1kg.
The Scott Scale 640 (alloy) weighs 10.9kg.
