I have no idea why anyone would buy this. It has to be the easiest thing in the world to make yourself. Three ingredients (50g brown caster sugar, 100g of butter and 150g of plain flour) and 23 minutes in the oven at 150C.

Even better is to use 50g of cornflour mixed with 100g of plain flour.

Like most things, surely it's time? 23 minutes to cook turns into an hour to prep, clean etc...

For something so cheap why bother? The store bought shortbread is generally a good standard anyway. Some things it's not really worth the time.
Given the recent humus fiasco, I think it would be safe to assume they are probably made in the same factory.

Yeah I suppose if you are used to a lazy lifestyle why bother doing anything that takes effort.
