Waste of money and fake guarantee
I first bought one of the 30cm pans which I loved until after about 7 months of use it had gradually discoloured and eventually food started sticking to the point where it was unusable, I contacted them as it’s apparently got a lifetime guarantee! Within this time I purchased the Scoville Pro neverstick set as it was on offer however i later found their guarantee is worthless as after a few emails back and forth and some pictures of the pan their ‘experts’ claim the pan has been overheated which voided the warranty apparently your only meant to use them on a low flame so no good for anyone who wants to cook properly! Now on to the pro range, (which I wish I never purchased) great looking set however the non stick coating rubs off from stacking the pans and the metal handles get red hot, you need oven gloves to work with them, they are very poorly designed. My advice, stick with what you know, I’m going back to Tefal as never had a problem and they last me years with no ridiculous lifetime guarantee claims!"

I have used these pans for over a year now. I cannot recommend them highly enough. My pans look as good as new and I use them daily. They do tell you to hand wash, not dishwash. I am surprised that one bad review would put someone off?!?

TT, depends on kitchen colour scheme really, but gold is more neutral should you ever decide to change the room colour.

Soooo, Tefal for me too now!
I've been using the Pro version (= metal handles for oven use) for a few months and very happy with them. On the hob the handles don't get very hot at all, perhaps right by the pan edge where you don't ever hold it, the non stick seems great so far but I hand-wash them. What I have noticed is that the frying and griddle pans take a lot of heating up compared to my Tefal and then can't get "smoking" should you need that to sear things.

The "lifetime guarantee" covers manufacture defects only, specifically not "normal wear and tear" which I guess should be expected after the 5X harder than competitors period ends and they start wearing out.

Still good product for the money Imho.
Neverstick..... Bit of a joke if you see the state of the one that came out of my dishwasher this morning (at 75C full wash). That was just cooking a few home made burgers.
..I need them in silver or may need to get red dishcloths to give them a place

They do take up quite a bit of space, but you can pop things in between after stacking, not a problem. I hand wash the pans straight after cooking and they're still good after about a year.
It might be with noting that not all the pan lids have a snug fit and that's probably why they're so cheap.

Just bought a frying pan of this make, read the life time guarantee, basically it's useless.

Can't use them on high heat for the garuntee and if it does break you have to send it back to them and pay the postage costs yourself.

Had the same issue with their customer support. Said they can see signs of overheating on the pan hence warranty is Void. Good pans if you only plan to lightly use them for a year.
Very poor advertising standards overall.
I’ve had this set in copper for about two years - I do a lot of cooking. Still as good as new and no problems at all.

Sounds like a dodgy review, maybe from a Tefal director or something

I've had these pans for over a year and they've been quite simply faultless, best pans I've ever owned.

Exactly my experience of them. On my ceramic hob i can't get them hot enough to fry chips properly. Never had that problem with Tefal.
I agree with frying pan useless comments. You can only cook on half heat or it destroyes itself with high heat so pointless really, better off with a wok.

Pans are good but a bit small.

Only worth offer price in my opinion as pans don't go flakey when you mash potatoes in them etc.
Oh and the handles do get hot as f*** if you aren't careful. I'd say not quite as good as all the reviews having used 2 Yrs.

Yep. I had the same problem. Haven’t even bothered with the warranty. You’d think not being able to get a pan really hot would make it not fit for purpose.
Just had my 3 year old 28cm Casserole pan approved for warranty replacement.

They did say there were signs it had been overheated, and they did say that the dishwasher detergent used was ‘too strong’ as the bottom of the pan shows signs of pitting.

However this had never been dishwasher to my knowledge, and always washed by hand using a soft plastic bristled brush.

Either way, they approved a replacement. I just had to pay £6.99 to cover shipping costs from them to me.

From my experience with their support;

- be sure you register your pan purchase with them.
- be sure you follow the aftercare guide/document that is apparently included on a small sheet of paper with the pans.

None of my 4/5 neverstick pans shipped with this aftercare document. My guess is that I bought before this was included, and/or early packaging was susceptible to this guide going AWOL. They assure me now that this little pamphlet is stuck to the inner side of the cardboard wrap. But it is also available online.

I love(d) these pans. But they will never last a lifetime, sadly.

Part of me says, when they’re new-ish, they’re fantastic. And they’re cheap enough to buy/replace annually. So why not do that.

Part of me says, why not just go whole hog and get a solid stainless fry set like Le Creuset or whatever.

I can confirm that the handles (metal) on the Scoville Pro, do get red hot and render them unusable. After purchasing them, I was asked to write a review on them on TrustedReview website, where I posted an honest review of
this issues. With in hours I was being contacted, because my review was negative and wouldn't be posted. I'll never trust these review sites again.

Funny mine (Pro frying and griddle pans) don't get hot at all, but saying that on my halogen hob the pans never get super hot which perhaps explains it.

You may be right there, as my experience with these, is on a gas hob. But saying that I've had other make metal handled pans, that don't get anywhere near as hot as these. And they don't specify they're all to be used on certain hobs.
If you like to purchase items safe in the knowledge that the manufacturer holds up their end of the advertised guarantee, then I would advise you to NOT buy these pans.

As stated above, the manufacturer makes explicit conclusions based on pictures to always say the pans have been overheated when you question their 5 year neverstick guarantee.

They are decent pans but as soon as you use anything over a medium heat, the speckled white bits turn brown and the non stick coating degrades. The manufacturer confirm this occurs and that the non stick coating does indeed flake off into the food.

I've now gone back to my tried and tested seasoned pans.

I've had these for a goof few months now (got the black ones when they were on sale) and they're brilliant. If you hand-wash/let them soak for anything more difficult to get off, they will keep looking as good as new. Probably one of the best sets I've got and waiting for the black ones to come back on offer so I can get another pair.
Very good for 12 months then decline, guarantee worthless, use mine on induction hob
I have these in the copper. Such good value for money, they are my favourite pans!!
Had these for over a year no complaints- they are regularly discounted to this price

These pans are average at best, probably worth 35 quid but that's about it. I've only used them on gas and find the heat control very poor where my stainless set have no issues whatsoever.
Just to note the ‘pro’ set is in offer too and you still get the free pan. The ‘pro’ set is £40. I’m ordering one now!
