The Scoville Performance 28cm Frying Pan is a really versatile piece for any kitchen, large enough for several juicy steaks or throwing together some tasty pasta. Thanks to the new construction it also retains heat and saves energy. It's flake, peel and 100% PFOA free and features the Neverstick+ 6x stronger technology. The frying pan is made from thick gauge forged aluminium with a stainless steel base for heat distribution and an oven safe stainless steel handle.

    Tested 35 market leading pans
    Tefal (29.5% market share), followed by Scoville, JML, Salter and Prestige and own brands.

    The independent lab used a machine called a Teer Coatings ST200 scratch tester with a diamond-tipped probe (angle 120O and radius 0.2 mm) for the test. The initial load for the start of the test was 1 N at a loading rate of 40 N/min and a table speed of 5 mm/min.

    Awesome pans for the money. There is a 24cm Tefal listed here on hukd for £13 and I wouldnt even consider it compared to this one.

    Decent money for pan. My experience though is the non stick lasts about 12 months before starting to fail. The guarantee is useless as they blame everything apart from their pans. I've had pans that last a lot longer but at this price worth considering then replace after 12 months ish.

    Scoville guarantee not worth the paper it's written on. Coating starts to lift within 12 months and that's from a pan not used once a week and never ever put in the dishwasher. They blame anything for not upholding the guarantee.

    Non stick and aluminium both dangerous for health. Aluminium leaches into food and causes blood poisoning and Alzheimer's and Teflon or similar is carcinogenic. Spend more and buy a quality stainless steel or cast iron, don't fall for these sales gimmicks

    Cheers OP, ordered a backup for my one currently in use. Used tefals for years but converted with this performance range from scoville. Also bought the wok which is also on offer.

    Scoville are by far the best maker of pots and pans. Love them, nothing sticks, and even if the pans look burnt they are an absolute doddle to clean (I never put pans in the dishwasher) will not by any pan now other than scoville.

    Not going to mark this cold but just for info, we bought these pans which boast a lengthy guarantee for non-stick. They were great for 6-12 months or so but afterwards started to degrade re non-stick. We rang Scoville who told us we had got the pans too hot and therefore they wouldn’t replace. We hadn’t used them any differently to previous cheaper models that had lasted many years!

    I can see that you posted that deal as your own, without crediting the person who actually found it and posted a link to your deal on the tefal pan. It is a customary practice amongst HUKD members to credit the person who has actually found a deal.
    It was a good deal anyway, although looks like sold out pretty much everywhere...
