Just tried it for fun. It's OK if you want this feature. Bit better than what's built in to my xiaomi phone.. It's free so what's not to like

What app is that?

I've used the app here on past promotions. Lots of options I didn't want or need. I find the options within messenger or wassap ideal for editing but only once an image has been posting. To draw on an image before posting it, I prefer an app called "sketch" which has a icon with a vertical rainbow-coloured brush. It looks to be made by Sony and I'm sure it was free and has an editor's choice badge in the play store.

Just a heads-up for S9+users, if you go to the settings tab you get the usual S9+ option at the bottom of the screen "Tap here to use this app in full screen" (or something like that) - don't do it! It causes the app to crash!

Xiaomi gallery has photo editor built in. And video editor. It's OK for basic stuff

That's because you have stock android updated by Google. I have a redmi note that has Miui which is a skin from xiaomi. They have a different look with different knobs and whistles run by different companies. I like Miui but some don't
