This might be a good thread to ask a question I've had for a little while, …This might be a good thread to ask a question I've had for a little while, since losing a set of tools. It was a set of plumbers tools, wide jaw pipe spanner, other spanners, pliers etc. It was a black and orange zip case, I think mainly black with orange border but I can't be too sure it wasn't the other way around. I cannot for the life of me find it but it contained everything I needed for simple jobs. Does anyone have any idea what product manufacturer that might have been, or where a similar, simple kit might exist? I know I wouldn't have spent a lot on it and it had about 7 tools inside.

Was it something like this? B&Q/ Screwfix have a brand called Magnusson that has black casing with orange trim

Thanks for the tip.
Want the ride-on lawn mower just go cruising.

No respirators??
My advice is reserve and collect - don't get anything delivered as they might cancel your order.

i would avoid swann altogether!
power supplies dont last for what they are made for, cameras are poor quality and dont last more than a few years before burning out and going grainy and the customer service is extremely bad, plus as you said the mobile app is rubbish too!

My advice is reserve and collect . . .

Agreed. But even then, don't whole heartedly trust 'reserve and collect'. In the past I've arrived at branch to collect a 'r & c', only to be told at the counter that they can't find the item.
There aren’t any bargains here though, it’s just a “marketing sale”. Not a deal.

Thanks, but I've already got so many individual kits of screwdrivers that I'm just looking for the bits I truly need now. I didn't have a single plumbing tool until I got that Magnusson kit and it's randomly disappeared. I'm going to have a final good look for it before I throw another £30 at tools I already have somewhere.

The colour scheme would suggest Bahco but your statement "I wouldn't have spent a lot on it" contradicts that.
Screwfix sales are very 'meh' lately!

It's Magnusson and has been found at B&Q and Screwfix in an earlier reply
Gonna build myself a little house for all my loo roll and shelter inside it, getting ready for the end of civilisation.

Had a swann system for a few months now and over night the camera quality has gone very grainy, any ideas? Do I need to get a refund for this ASAP? I find the app is very hit and miss too

i would definitely get a refund, i am basically running mine into the ground (as i was out of the year warranty) then going to go through ebay, tomtop or banggood for a cheap replacement

Cameras are unreliable as well
So what items are actually 50% off?
Just call it the self isolation sale.
My wife had already bought gloss for when I get it.
Any oxygen tanks?

Try reseating the cables on the DVR.. had mine for 5 years no issues. Think power supplies don't like a surge in the mains at all and fail..But seem to last on a surge protected extension lead.

The power supplies can suffer because all 4 cameras are drawing power constantly, yet the weak link is the cheap chinese 4 way splitters that people always buy on fleabay. Always a good idea to upscale to a more suitable PSU. (6 amp)

Get a refund or throw them in the bin and buy a different brand, swan are crap I brought the high end model and 2 cameras failed within 6 months there whole technology is way behind other brands
Not many great offers in there but I've bought all of the following at full price and am happy with them, so with the discounts they're good deals:
20W rechargeable worklight, was £30 now £21 screwfix.com/p/e…6gy
165mm circular saw (110V), was £50, now £32 screwfix.com/p/e…4fx
24 piece bit set, was £15, now £12 screwfix.com/p/m…7hr
The light is as good as brand name ones I've used that cost around £100.
The saw is basic but I've had mine 4 years, mostly use it for ripping rough timber but have used it on worktops in the past without issues. It has taken some serious abuse.
I'll probably pick up another worklight and set of bits while they're cheap
Thanks for posting; we have added this thread to the Highlights section
