Good morning,
£5 vouchers are being given instead of the free flasks, just go to local store with flask voucher and a voucher will be issued. I believe this is nationwide.

where is the flask voucher

if your a member on there mailing system they post you a card , I didn't have a option I a voucher .

I normally get one in the post must be on its way

I popped in to collect mine yesterday and was told the product had been recalled. There was no offer of a £5 voucher made to me.

Been into Middleton branch today and offered £5 voucher in lieu of faulty mugs ,but I bought box of screws on offer in plastic case at £5, for no charge, completely free

I got a plastic mug on Tuesday, ok for free but I'd rather have a fiver voucher. Any idea why they were recalled?

£5 voucher no minimum spend arrived through the mail a couple of days ago

hi there if you take your flasks back the fiver voucher is yours and it a leak issue that made it recalled thanks

got my flask ok the other day, if you don't want the screwfix logo on it put it in the dish washer comes off first wash ;-)

I would also much rather have the £5 discount voucher.

Me too, flask is rubbish.... Lid hardly stays on!

If they're anything like the free Dewalt lunchbox, they were recalled for being such poor quality your life is worse for owning one. I didn't even consider going to get the freebie this time, nice to be right once in a while.

My DeWalt lunchbox came with something inside.

It's not called B&ScrewUfix for no reason

You get the mug, and being a mug you go back to buy some plumbers mait or a rubber o ring for a fiver

or some of the ptfe pfte ffs white tape or pvc electric tape

I'd just like to add that you don't get a £5 voucher given to you, they simply use "another"code to knock £5 from whatever you purchase, you still have to show your mug voucher, also the offer will expire on the 22/03/2015 so after this time don't bother.

IMO this is a better offer than the mug as they aren't worth 50p let alone a fiver.

I won't be using mine as :

1: I'm a plumber and everytime i shop at screwfix i get questioned about buying boilers (even though i'm not gas safe), their robot customer service is also LOL

2: They never have anything in stock!, even something simple like a 10mm compression fitting, sure you can get it next day but thats really helpful when your doing the job sameday.

Also i've got a habit of keeping the old catalogues and noticed that their prices are slowly creeping up on lots of things, some things even doubled!

Try a little forward planning screwfix sell out of items "shock /horror"

can i get hold of a code without being on mailing list as want to buy a tool from them so would be nice to save a fiver??

I went in with the mug voucher to get the mug but was told they didn't have any and they gave me the £5 off. Just bought two random things totalling £4.98 for free.

It's not that they sell out of things, the fact is they never have it in stock in the first place!, also when your a tradesman you discover things you think you'd never need or carry stock of in your van, tell me wheres the forward planning in that?

Oh and it's not cost effective to carry lots of stock in your van, 1: Theft, 2: You might never need the part for 3 years down the line, also customers sometimes change their minds on jobs and require things moving resulting in the need for extra parts.

Huge thanks for the heads up! i was about to throw the voucher in the recycling!! nice little selection of turbogold screws instead☺☺

we had 2 vouchers in the same address, one for my GF and one for me,just tried to redeem the other and was told you only one per address,i wonder why their system allowed 2 seperate names from the same address in the first place?
