Your bike's not gonna hang around with this sort of lock

Yup, those locks can be guessed in seconds:

Or just cut through the cable with these handy £10 bolt cutters: screwfix.com/p/b…59v
Just about good enough to lock up your bike outside your local corner shop, as long as you're less than 20 seconds and you live in a posh area with no crime.

Ok for locking ladders up I suppose but not if you're a window cleaner, as they could very easily go missing.

Thanks a just got myself a new bike!

Seriously ?
Keep it in the house, I've had two stolen from sheds. Not ordinary sheds. Sheds with welded bars on the windows and metal doors and corrugated sheeting. In a 'quiet' country area.
Lol. 8mm. Thieves will cut that with a pair of scissors.

Or yank the bike frame really hard.

Or spin the bike frame round and round, or use a steel bar to twist the lock cable up like a tourniquet until the lock body falls apart, or the end of the cable pulls out of the lock.

I once helped out a cyclist free his bike that had been locked through the frame by another cyclist's combination cable lock, the lock pulled apart and all the dials fell off while I was cracking it using the method from that video, just from the tension I applied with one hand!

No, he had the keys to his lock. An old guy had locked his bike to the stand through the young guy's bicycle, and he was going mental saying he was going to smash up the other bike, so I saved the old guy's bike from damage, he showed up while I was trying to put his lock back together so I could secure his bike, so it was a bit embarrassing.
