Bit of a mark up for a bit of artwork. Is a £30 worth the pretty picture?
Why don't all of you adults see if they do a lunch box with matching flask

Where can you get a Seagate 2TB for £50 ?

£50 unlikely cheapest I know of is amazon for £63 amazon.co.uk/Sea…2tb

You should also include this in the description
  • Includes weapon for Sea of Thieves, the jewel-studded Midnight Blunderbuss
  • Also includes Xbox Game Pass free for 1 month, giving you access to over 100 great Xbox titles

Buying this will get you access to Sea Of Thieves on PC and/or Xbox One for a month. Plus some micro DLC.

Does it come with the game pre-installed?
Would definitely consider this if it was 4tb as my current 4tb is almost full so I’ll need another one soon.

No but it does come with a 1 month game pass. Which will give you access to the game for 1 month as well as other titles.
For that special edition HDD or controller they should give copy of game as well in the same price.

says 5400rpm so same speed as mine
i have mind hidden at the back so cant see it anyway

Always wondered why people need 4tb full of games. Theyre there to re download at any time. How many games can you actually play at the one time?

Even on 150Mb fibre it would take you around an hour at max speed to download a modern current gen game.

That's likely the absolute best case scenario for the majority.
Its probably closer to the best part of a day spent downloading on most people's connection.

Download times for a 60GB game:
@ 200Mb = 40 mins
@ 150Mb = 50 mins
@ 120Mb = 1 hr
@ 76Mb = 1 hr 50 mins
@ 38Mb = 1 hr
@ 16Mb = 8 hr 20 mins

I'd much rather buy a portable 4TB drive and house all my games on there than spend hours redownloading stuff.

So your telling me if you made a game and another company made a customer HDD for it or controller you would go oh I'll give it away with there product thus making no money out of that sale :s I'm pretty sure you wouldn't It's a business after all.
The issue is the capacity. Whilst this is pretty, I wish it were 3TB or 4TB.

Some people like to have easy access to their entire library of games and not spent sometimes half a day to download a 30GB file just to play for a few minutes.

There is also the added advantage of faster load times and read and write times, the data written on the outer ends of the data disk takes longer to read than data scored near the center, so with a 2TB HDD the games stored on the last 1TB will be slower to read and write to than the first TB, so some gamers will buy HDD with much higher capacity than they need and only use half the capacity to get the best loading times. Edit: Wait, I think it's the other way around the outer out has faster read and write speeds as the more area can be read per rotation.

Ive got like 40 games taking up less than 1tb.

If you spend half a day downloading 30gb you need new internet not a new HDD

I have Rise of the Tomb Raider, Forza Horizon 3, Gears 4, Halo 5, Halo MCC, Final Fantasy 15, GTA V and Doom all taking over 50GB each, (over or close to 100GB in some cases.) that's over 600GB just there. These are the games I tend to keep on my HDD because no way am I download these games multiple times.

I have 200mb Internet connection mate...so no I don't need a faster connection, I wasn't talking about me per say, though it has taken me five plus hours to download a 30GB game, XBL and PSN have never given me download speeds above 100Mbps or in the case of the PSN above 40Mbps. and in my nephews case who is a university student, he's had to spend two days to download a game, maybe I should tell him to quit uni and apply to one with faster internet? Also did you just suggest that instead of spending a bit extra on a bigger HDD, you should spend anything from £10 to £30 extra a month on a faster internet connection? Where is the logic in that, spend anything from £120 to £360 extra a year on your internet to save the £50 a larger HDD will cost you?

Edit: Just to point out for me a 2TB HDD is enough, but I'm not the same level of gamer I was before, but I have friends who could easily fill a 8TB HDD with the number of games they own and play.

You do realise you can play other games while downloading and even download offline right? So your whole point about downloading being an issue, isn't.

Unless you have a data cap. As I said, crap internet.

Anyone could fill 8TB, doesnt mean you have to.

Just checked and I have 91 games totaling just over 1TB. Only Pub G gets played.

Still failing to see your point...

My main issue is Xbox One X texture patches which can some times be 100GB. I have 15 games on the console, which is used by multiple users in my house and only 100gb left ! Hence my requirement for an external HDD. Patches for the X are huge.
