Mark my words this game will be £15-£20 in a few months time

Hardly a bold prediction, most games are.
AKA No Man's Sea.
This game is a shipwreck.

I actually agree. More like £15 in a month. They've really pis*ed off the user base by under resourcing servers, bugs already and significant downtime each day since launch on 20th. Many people are also complaining about the lack of customisation in both player identity and the ships they sail. It's all gone a tad pear shaped' very quickly. Better off with the Game Pass freebie option, for now at least.

Played a few hours with a friend on launch day. It's great fun, but can't see us playing it beyond this weekend. The core gameplay and sailing the ship is just chaotic hilarity, but we can already see the lack of content and variety in the quests. Battling other pirates is the highlight, but even that can get a bit samey. I'll enjoy it for the rest of the weekend, then likely leave it for 6-12 months before checking out any additions they make in that time.

I'd advise folk to try it on gamepass, as everyone gets a two week free trial once per account. If you love it and see yourself playing it a ton, buy it after your gamepass expires.

You obviously haven't play this. I would say his comment was valid.
This game is a shipwreck.
It's the first 10/20 minutes, running around with no instructions or help. Put me right off, tried working with teams but no one speaks. Gave up with it, shame, but not worth the hassle lol

I got the game pass for this very game and am glad I did.

As Teddy said above, the lack of help when starting was just annoying and made me want to give up.

I have persevered but think that it's quite a shallow game and all of your hard work getting the treasure can be lost very quickly.
Went on this earlier on game pass and for the life of me I have no clue what to do at all
Have to agree...it's a gorgeous game, but there doesn't seem all that much to it. Did come across the kraken during a fight with another ship last night, that was pretty damn awesome. But there seems to be a real lack of variety. And who you play with definitely determines your enjoyment.

Get it on gamepass...well worth the £1.30 it's been going for at cdkeys
