Uh, not really. It's a DEAL compared to prices in other supermarkets. But no need to apologize, i really don't take personal offence if someone votes the deal cold. each to their own! just trying to be helpful member of the HUKD community, I see you already have the title helper, so thanks for being 'helpful' and pointing that out to me

Well I'll also be helpful and say things like this are usually cheaper in Home Bargains and B&M as well. B&M do a very good Italian sea salt in a grinder for 79p.

never heard of those stores, do they have the same national presence as lidl?

Perhaps not in the South East, but for about another 40 million people, yes.

i'm south west, never heard of 'em apart from on here. must be a northern thing that would explain the cheaper price too!

I'm in the South West and there are 9 B&M stores within 20 miles of me, and 20 Home Bargains stores within 40 miles. Maybe you need to get out more.

I don't have a car and im pretty sure there's none down this way at any rate, but i'll be sure to keep an eye out if they open in the future. generally i can live with paying 10p more for items though

How about the poundland and 99p store deals here? I think the deal in here is about an item not available all around the year now available at a reasonable price.

This stuff is available in Lidl at the same price 52 weeks of the year. It's not on offer, and it's something they always sell.
