Whats the krak-en?
Judging by the reviews, not great but not terrible. 6.5 on bgg. Legacy though...
Got to be worth a tenner in any case, good spot op

The Shut Up and Sit Down review is worth a watch, for those on the fence:
boardgamegeek.com/vid…all

This is the lowest price I've seen, so voting hot, but I think will probably avoid it - I have too many unplayed board games.
OOS
Out of stock.
Is this Fallout 76 of the board game genre?!
OOS
bought this back when it was £14 and seems well worth it. Will get if off the shelf of shame eventually!
Jeeez thats fallen far.
I dont think its quite that bad! If you can scrape together a regular group of 3 this is a lot of value for money

I know that feeling, got a complete Scythe set with all the expansions still wrapped in cellophane because I haven't had a chance to get to it yet.

The more I can afford these things, the less time I seem to have to play them.

Hah, I wish. When I get the time, plus I don't have any friends willing to invest the time into learning something that complex, management wise. Usually it just revolves around pick up and play games like Catan, LNoE, Dead of Winter, Cutthroat Caverns, etc.
Playing Scythe solo just does not appeal to me.

It looks complex but really isn't. I played with 2 friends who had never touched a modern euro game before and they enjoyed it. A couple of rounds and you get the hang of it. It's a good 2-3 hour game though if inexperienced with the mechanics/rules. There are basically 4 actions you can do and that's it.
I'd say scythe is no more complex than dead of winter, it just looks it

EDIT:
Dead of winter Bgg weight = 3.01
Scythe Bgg weight = 3.37

Usually a decent measure of complexity
