The product description for this product is in reference to their largest size that they sell which is 2TB, which is most likely why it refers to it as 'up to 2TB'.
Hi, price is ok ,but i think there will be better deals to be had on black Friday deals 😁
Can this be used to record content from Smart TV?
Why USB-C for a sata drive? USB 3.0 would've been sufficient!

More abuse of the 'up to' phrase. It should be banned in advertising as it is only used to deceive potential customers.

Compatibility with Macbooks and newer pcs that only have USB-c, maybe.

Tell that to those not familiar with drives and real world capacities etc. and buy thinking, Oh that's good.
There's still plenty, for example, who buy drives and complain at formatted sizes thinking there's something amiss.

It has a type-A cable too. Having a USB-C connector doesn't mean it has the highest possible speed interface and it hasn't been a fixed standard since the connector was introduced, devices still use a variety of modes. There's some stuff with USB-C that only uses USB 2.0 mode.

Then you should definitely contact the manufacturer and product page owner if its a big issue and get them to make it clear.

BTW props to the OP for this deal. You may have copy and pasted the description from the manufacturer's (which has been stated by encase that it is misleading for people not familiar with drives) but thank you for taking the time to post such a deal.
