Here is the Amazon deal: hotukdeals.com/ite…e=2 I think you get more cashback from topcashback too, but i havent checked.

PC World's Collect In Store service, in my experience, isn't worth the web page it's written on.

Reserved' an item, travelled 20 miles to the PC World store to get it and they didn't have any. Not only did they not have what I'd reserved but the staff in store couldn't have cared less about whether they had any or not. They didn't offer me an alternative and didn't apologise.

Wasted a gallon of fuel and an hour of my life on PC World. Utter gits.

The website does say that they can't guarantee that once you've 'reserved' an item, that it will be available when you get to the store........so I have to wonder.............what's the point of the service?

Just my experience............I'd sooner pay a few quid more than give PC World any of my money.....:whistling:

I agree. What their stock computer says and what is actually in stock at the shop seems to be a complete lottery.

are these drives any good in terms of reliability as my maxtor (seagate) ext hdd just died on me and i have lost all my files on it

I used to work on Dixons/DSG's "Eclipse" till system. Staff are supposed to be notified of Collect@Store reservations and pick the item off the shelf ready for later collection. Most of the time they can't be @*sed and will often go to pick it off the shelf when you actually turn up in store, which makes the whole concept of a "reservation" a bit of a waste of time.

think its here for £59.79 under super savers, scan.co.uk/Tod…spx
