I just had 1 failed after 18 months. I using it in my PS4. Lost all my data!
That sucks. Does the PS4 not have cloud saves like Xbox?
I had one in mine for over a year and was ok. Bought another last week from Amazon and now it's reduced by £20, they won't refund me the difference but have said return it to them for a refund?!

You do have cloud saves if you use the ps plus subscription.

This has been their policy for as long as I have known. The prices on Amazon fluctuate all the time, I assume this is to bypass constant refunds. Less people will be willing to return at cost than send a message, plus next week it might go down again with another refund request etc (too many returns vs putchases and they get rid you)

Yeah true. Guess I'll just have to deal with it. Frustrating though. It's like £20.

Does that include items sold by sellers on there? I've had some bad luck with stuff recently so don't want to send them back and then be kicked off!

I wouldn't worry about it unless you consistently send a large percentage of your stuff back.
If you buy one of these make sure you've got rock-solid backups of all your data!
