Most people use a ssd for os and a hard drive for media, so for a media sorage device it would be fine
You might want to red the reviews,
seem sto be pulled from systems/ resold from a pc builder.

And according to the q's it's coming from Collegiate Crescent Sheffield.
iirc, there's nothing on that street except, a university, a letting agency and some student/private homes....
Most people will use a 4TB drive as storage where speed is not always as high priority as running cost, heat generation and reliability.
Pay the extra and get a hgst
Not voted but I won’t touch seagate after I had six 3tb drives and they all failed, and 2 of the replacements didnas well

Were you constantly writing onto them? My Toshiba one failed when I put it through its paces by leaving it to download movies for 8 hours
They were split between a nas and my pc. Use an ssd for windows so not much use really
