Deal good
Can this be used for MacBooks/Iphones?

Also, if backing up a MacBook (for example) can you also backup PS3 software or other devices in different formats?

Seems an amazing price!
I have the 8TB version, bought in a lightning-deal last year. It's a good backup device.

Voted-hot.

I just bought one from the Amazon warehouse for £105..... Well then, this is awkward
Can get £10 off as well making it £84.99 if you use amazon top up in store as this is dispatched and sold by amazon.

Top up £40 or more and get a free £10. This deal was posted on here a few days ago if one of the mods can link it? I don't now how?

Already done it.

Time to return this one to the Amazon locker and pick up a new one for an easy £10 save...

Amazon is equal parts amazing and infuriating at the same time

looks like a genuine deal as there's been a number of ext hdd reduced over the last weeks, but they are still too expensive though for the higher capacity. this one (6TB) seems in line, just need the 8TB to drop to around £130

Its the pricing that's the same for 4 and 6TB that's not making sense.

ebuyer selling for £123.63
Come on Amazon, drop the price of the 8TB again to £120ish. Wouldn't mind stocking up
Can this be connected to network?

prices fluctuate, they may have a lot of 6TB to shift to make way for new stock. i picked up a 5TB for £80 last year

if your not happy with the price, contact amazon

Not bothered,not ordered,don't need.

No good guessing they might have loads of 6TB.

Glad your happy with your 5TB from last year.
For 6tb this is an excellent price. Its cheaper than buying the bare hard drive
Bought this for £119.99 on Black Friday last year. Still sitting sealed in the box. I should really stop buying things on impulse that I don't need. Heat.
Seems these are the Archive drives inside so they're pretty slow.
Thank OP for the heads up.
Just grabbed this for £79.99 with the £10 gift card + £5 amazon assistance.Well pleased.......6TB for this price is a Bargain.

Best Regards,

Hi I used the link for amazon gift card top up , printed voucher code......... went to corner shop and top up £40 cash
hotukdeals.com/dea…997
The top-up gets registered to your Amazon account Automatically.

I already had used amazon assistant for £5 extra when you purchase £25 or over from amazon , you install the plugin extension to google chrome...so this came off the price also. When you use the amazon assistant link, it will tell you if you are eligible for the promo,If you have never used amazon assistant....Then you qualify for the £5 discount.
hotukdeals.com/dea…168
Once installed (amazon assistant chrome plugin) go through the setup and brows to the Segate 6TB drive and add it to your basket and it takes £5 off and also takes £10 off from gift card. So price I paid was £39.99 +£40 gift card top-up.

Hopefully you get sorted.
My sons just ordered 1 via this method also and got it for £79.99.He is well pleased as he was running short on archive storage.

Best Regards,

Will this work with Xbox 1 as it runs on Windows 10? Can I said I it between multiple Xbox?
Got one for £80 from the warehouse that'll do me. I've already got one on the Xbox X and its perfectly acceptable.
Up to £115
I wish I had spotted this earlier now £114.99. There is the 8tb version for £143.44 but it's from Amazon USA not sure whether to order that one instead. Obviously voted hot
I'm glad the price went up, otherwise I'd have bought something else I don't need.

That's not true, I shucked one of these earlier in the year and it's a ST6000DM003 which is a Baracuda Compute series
Zounds.

This seems the case now for the seagate series latest editions ....I have read many reports that the drives in these are pretty dam good.
I purchased a maplin`s seagate xbox 8TB for £133 recently and I believe the Barracuda pro is inside.
I have not actually cracked the maplins one open yet , but I think I will be quite happy, when I do ............and for the price of these for 6TB it is a no brainier for archive purposes. I think the Barracuda compute are in these too and even if they are not? then it really does not matter as it`s still a great deal for archive 6TB.
I actually wish I had grabbed another for £79.99 through the missus`s account and I would have sent the maplins back for £133 and gained £53 - 2TB alas..... I never and now is back up in price....

Best Regards

Late reply but just so you know for next time since I see you've asked this month's ago on another deal

Any USB 3.0 External Harddrive will work with Xbox One, it will work between multiple devices, you could download a bunch of games and bring it to your friend or family, plug in, play (well obviously you still need the discs or you'll need to sign in if digital but it saves you from installing multiple times)

I think you copy the drives onto another storage
