Yes. I have a One X which it 1TB and also 2 external 1TB drives attached and still have less than 1/2TB left.

Yes they work fine in Windows, I bought one just before Christmas. It seems to be a shingled drive so probably not the best for a raid setup from reading here storagereview.com/sea…8tb

If you don't want SMR the Backup Plus Hub has a "Compute" drive in it (£133).

SMR are okay in RAID, depends on your usecase though.
