Simple local or Cloud file backup

Enjoy a huge 8 TB of space with the Seagate Backup Plus Hub. You can use it interchangeably between Windows and Mac computers without reformatting – just install the NTFS driver for Mac.

This desktop hard drive lets you protect your digital life locally, in the cloud or from mobile devices and social networks, offering simple local or cloud file backup.

Via the Lyve app, the drive is identified as an ideal space to store photos and videos – this lets you free space on your phone by sending files to your drive to access anywhere in one unified library.

Charge and manage devices

You can plug in external USB devices like cameras and phones to charge via the front-mounted high-speed USB 3.0 ports. They provide a direct way to manage your devices and stored data.

Seagate Dashboard

With Seagate Dashboard software you can configure backup across local, mobile, cloud and social media applications. It's an easy way to store and secure information from your computer, mobile devices and the cloud. Carry out one-click backups or run an auto-backup plan to safeguard your files conveniently.

Different drive mate

I know that, but most buyers like WD.
I do not mind both make.
Some will look at the size, which is 8tb as comparison. And 8tb is £119 in July and June. I guess they are waiting for Nov or black friday for a big drop

I also loaded this drive and it was 10%, but I could never beat you to upload the deal

I've had 2 of these running from the start of the year with zero issues.

Move along.
I've just learnt to go to cloud storage lol, I've got like 20 2-4TB HDDs over the years, and half of them have failed :/ They're so unreliable. Like having a vehicle, if you leave them for years, then want to use them, they're probably going to have issues lol.

Seagate and Western Digital SUCK!
Seagate hell no
Would this (or a smaller version) work with an Xbox? Mine is full up atm

Mine too failed after a few months. However Seagate Customer Service were great and replaced the drive which went straight onto a famous online auction site.

Depends on how you use it and how you back up and how often you use it. I don't have issues with my old ones. I can watch videos and read old doc..
After a while. I move my data to new drive and recycle the old drive for storage
