Selling from Amazon.com but they ship to the UK. This price includes the drive, shipping and handling and the Amazon.com Import Fees Deposit.

a good price, but no mention as to whether or not you'll get a UK PSU. It can handle UK voltage, but you may end up needing to buy a PSU unless I am mistaken.

Is there any opportunity for local (UK) warranty service on this imported drive?

A good point. In my experience these drives ship with a modular plug which the right connector is 'snapped' into - happy to be corrected if this isn't going to be the case though

I know, like I said it can handle 240V, but it's worth noting you may not get the right plug on it. it's not mentioned either way.

It may not be obvious to some, Shipping from US will involve customs, it's not like buying from a European Amazon site (at the moment pre Brexit anyway).

Read OP post it says price is all in.. I've used Amazon.com both to import this way and also via the relative method.

Good Price, and seems to include import fees etc.

The 8TB Backup Plus hub is only £17 more from eBuyer or Amazon (when in stock) - great for backing up those 5TB portables

If you are an accountant don't buy one of these to backup your files as it will convert all your pounds to dollars and mess up your calculations.

Also best not to buy if accounting for the mob.
