No, it contains a USB hub which the PS4 doesn't support.

A pi 4 is yeah. Any of the old ones have slow Ethernet. Can connect the drive to your router also.

Atomic pc is better if you like to hack but is way more hacky that a rassyberry pi.
Bought mine when it was £179.99... ended up dropping it and it's never been the same since... gonna have to get a new one now at this price
Will this work on a PS4
My only issue with this device is how much noise it generates. Even when the Xbox is off this thing will whir up and is really audible. That said this has been ideal for additional Xbox storage. Heat added.

I got one, lasted years and then I got two from Xmas and one died and I use it to stored files. Annoying. I think xmas batch are so bad, hence heavy discounts. Otherwise there are good.
I've had 2 of these from Amazon, both failed within a week, on 3rd one now, having a nightmare with them. I also have a 5tb one on the Xbox and it has been very faithful, but this 8tb model (using on a pc) has been a disaster so far. Paid £109 around Xmas for it on Amazon. Quick drives to be fair to them..
