I would be all over this if I had not purchased the 4TB version from a deal 2 weeks back (I believe I paid around £74 from Amazon).

For those who don't know, Seagate drives can be dismantled as they are not soldered in their SATA connectors. They simply use a small PCB adapter, and then you can use the enclosure to "host" other 2.5 HDDs providing you do not destroy them in the process of dismantling them (which is very unlikely).

Beware this will void the warranty when doing so. Also mind that these high capacity drives are thicker than the usual drives used in laptops, so if anyone is thinking of using it as a replacement HDD for their laptop (particularly slim versions) you risk the chances of it not fitting inside.
