its a hard one for sure - maybe our inhouse storage expert @Brutes can help
These have SMR hard drives inside. This means they will ONLY be good for storage (e.g media), light playback and back ups. They’re not suitable (too slow) for gaming, video production, etc.

You can probably either cancel the order or refuse the item on delivery and it will be returned.. that is if you can't officially cancel pre dispatch via your account. Phone Currys tomorrow and see if that's ok.

In my experience the courier has to return the item to the company and the company have to refund. Takes a while for the refund to process though so it's up to you if it's worth the hassle. I probably would lol
is it easier to get the HDD out of this and use it on a PC than WD (where you will need to tape a pin)
Do you need to plug in 2x USB ports to power it up and use it for the 6gb edition?
