I ordered the 4TB My passport for £99. Is this a better deal? Speed comparisons? Worth it for extra portability?

Edit: Just realised it won't work the Games Consoles, therefore the passport is the better deal for me!

Still, great price for 6TB!

This is a better deal IMO, this normally retails for 215, so 119 is a huge discount. Plus its only 20 quid more than the passport for 150% of the space that the Passport offers.

Wasn't this £135 for 8tb on Black Friday? That's a much better deal

Got my Xbox one X arriving today thanks to Curry's and HUKD.

I know this will work but I have no idea what Xbox live is like these days for games.

Last time was the 360.

How likely is it to need something like this?

£179.99 I think, still that price at the moment. The 8TB did go down to £119.99 on Prime Day back in July though.

An average triple AAA game takes up an average of 50GB some even peak over 100GB, so this should keep you going for quite some time and I believe it adds to the 1TB you get with the Xbox one X so you'd have 7TB total.

This doesn't work with ps4 though soo i've gone with the wd 4tb portable instead just yesterday. I can say from personal experience that struggling for 2 years with a 500gb hard drive has been tough and i've only been able to keep about 5 big games on my ps4 at once soo making an upgrade of any sort is going to save alot of bandwidth redownloading and keeping all my games on at once.

I'm looking to get 2 of these but my nearest store with stock is 50 miles away. The £10 voucher would've come in handy for the second one.

I wouldn't hold your breath it was a pricing error. I was just lucky that my daughter worked for JL and was able to order one.

Yep but the week before it was this price. Part of the Crappy black Friday deals. Was going to get it then but thought I'd wait for black Friday to see if it dropped any more. Instead it went up to £139.99. Should be called week before black Friday deals.

And now I will hope to see that 8TB for this price returns back Lol
