I've been shopping at OcUK for a few years now, not had one problem. They customer service has been fine, reasonable prices, friendly staff plus they are local to me.

What went wrong when you ordered from them in the past?

Bought 4 x Hitachi 2TB drives from them last week for almost the exact same price. Hitachi are 7200rpm.

How do you get free delivery?

Thank you.
Counts me out then.

Great drive (I have both 1TB and 2TB versions), but Overclockers are a really really crap company. If you buy anything from them you had better hope the item arrives working and new because you will have a very hard time with any customer service enquiries.

I have never used them due to their customer service being notoriously bad, It just really puts me off....and then there's the politics.....I would rather spend my money elsewhere

It applies to some, not all. As it stands, it doesn't apply to today's deals.

OcUK seems to get a lot of negative comments on here? I've brought from there admittedly only once before but did not have any problems. Been on their forums for a little while and they seem ok, although a little strict on their forums re. naming competitors. What are peoples bad experiences of them? RMA and returns perhaps?

I used to order a lot of kit from them, but had to return things twice and had really bad experiences. The first time I let it go as a "one-off" but the second time made me realise what a bunch of cowboys they are.

i). I Purchase a new graphics card which arrived clearly used, full of dust and marked. I called them and arranged for a return. I was promissed they would refund postage costs but they never did.

ii). I returned a faulty graphics to them which was clearly faulty. They sent the same item back to me and illegally charged my credit card a further £25 WITHOUT permission. I returned it to them for a second time and this time they tested it and accepted it was faulty. It took me many calls, emails and threats to get my money back. After a call from my credit card company they refunded my costs straight away.

AVOID Overclockers. The Customer Service is shocking and their forums are policed by the Gestapo.
