Seagate & Western Digital are the two reliable names in hard drives. Samsung, Hitachi & Fujitsu are next in line, or would this be complete nonsense.

I just don't think all manufacturers can have their *good* and *bad* drives. Gotta have some general consensus.

I've always used Seagates and WD and they've worked great. One broken Seagate but dell replaced it with a new one.

I agree with regards to Seagate and WD, excellent drives. Not sure about the others as i've not had to use them
