Not a deal, that is just the normal price. You also have the price wrong it is £39.99 not £39.00 Cheaper from Scan at £39.58.

add few quid and you can get a portable version which is smaller in size and doesn't need a power supply play.com/PC/…tml?searchstring=portable+hard+drive&searchtype=PCSH&searchsource=0&urlrefer=search&strefer=PCSH&searchfilters=s{portable%20hard%20drive}+c{420}+

You're right on the price being 'normal' and incorrect on the deal. The Scan deal only applies if you have free postage (from registering and posting on AVforums) - that's not available immediately to everyone as I think you have to be registered 10 days or so before you get the free postage.

Ahh thats annoying. Currently using the USB port with a 1TB WD so will just get another one of them when they drop below the £50 mark.

Thanks for your help though, i honestly thought that would fit.

sorry voted cold as you can get 1 tb for only few quid more

I can't believe that this got hot, and this didn't.

Same size, but so much better featurewise. I guess people just vote on the cheapest gb/£.

That is a portable hard drive, this is not

COLD.... The 2.5" drives were £39.99 at dixons and tesco direct not long back.

Why is this hot? It's an AWFUL deal!

You can get the 1 terrabyte version of the same drive for £46 delivered.... pixmania.co.uk/uk/…Q==

My point exactly.

Cold!

Pressed hot as I thought this was the 2.5"
For a 3.5" this is not a very exciting deal.
