6p more for a toshiba click me

2 year warrenty on this one tho so seems a better deal than the tosh

Seems a good price for the size. Heat added.

would prefer a Seagate than a Toshiba because they have been creating hd before toshiba has, heat added

Looks pretty good for the price.

These USB2 external drives will start rapidly dropping in price as USB3 is now available and will become ther norm over the course of the year - the speed difference will make these older drives kind of obsolete ... just a heads up.

1. Most PCs, even new ones, don't have USB 3. Most chipsets don't even support it yet. So unless you buy a USB 3 card to go with the drive, you won't see any advantage.

2. A lot of 2.5" USB drives have the performance limited by the drive, not the USB interface.

3. The vast majority of the cost of a USB drive is the drive itself, not the USB interface. They are already only a few pounds more than the drive itself.

pretty good price for the size, was considering getting the MJ 500gb one, but after seeing this i think i may go for this instead, even though slightly less gb/£, im not so fond of the MJ graphics

cheers op

voted cold, don't like seagate and it is black, a boring color ...

just joking, hot from me

Just about any modern 2.5" 5,400 rpm drive has a higher transfer rate than USB2 can handle.
