If it wasn't for the Best Buy deal...

Just noticed it's the same price on Amazon as well...

This isn't working with my Wii, formatted to WFBS fine but USB loader doesn't like it

Cold...No pic of Jacko on this one

Looks like a good deal..

used a few of these lately to mod wiis and they work fine
you dont need to format to wbfs you can use fat 32 WAY easier
drag and drop in windows easy peasy

Not working for me, my Western Digital 320GB one still works fine but not this one, I'm going to try Wii Flow

try formatting to FAT32 again (quick and easy with fat32format), then re-format to WBFS. If that doesn't work do an additional format to WBFS again (use something like ncWBFSTool) - I've had instances with some drives where they are not picked up first time but reformatting did the trick.

freddysmith a mate has the seagate portable which is setup as you describe and he has no problems

Cheers, I'll try re-formatting.
I originally formatted using FAT32, then formatted to WBFS using WBFS manager 3.0, its the games which are a pain as they took around 5 hours to transfer

I've just installed Wii flow and it has picked up the drive fine, didn't need to do any formatting, etc

Good price , would how much further the prices will drop. Buy now or wait? Hmmm

u dont need to format to wbfs mine is formatted to ntfs with a wbfs folder i use wii backup manager

is this a reliable drive, there's alot of dodgy comments on amazon?

How are you transferring? Mine take 5-10 mins to transfer. Both USB Loader GX and Configurable USB Loader have a button to save from the internal drive straight to the disk.

Has anyone opened one of these up to see if it a 9.5mm high regular HDD?(PS3 compatible)

Now £44.99, expired.
