Decent price on this drive, I bought the 3.5" version last week and got my copy of AC: Origins within a few days after receiving the drive. I was told they send on Fridays, but had it in my email inbox on the Wednesday, so that was nice. It didn't ship with any Sata cables, but I've always got a few knocking around anyway. (just in case you were wondering)

Packaging was pretty good, so no complaints there, arrived in good nick

So far really impressed, I'm using it mainly as gaming storage as a 2TB SSD wasn't on the cards for me, this is was the next best thing and the free game is a brucey bonus.

Obviously you can use this in a laptop or a desktop if you have a bracket for it. I think most of you will know all of that anyway. Also fine for console upgrades and defo more cost effective and a worthy upgrade from the standard drives that they carry.

7mm drive? Will that fit in a PS4? The answer is yes. Tempting.
OP .. "Also fine for console upgrades and defo more cost effective and a worthy upgrade from the standard drives that they carry."

In part, I fully agree with you. :-)

But don't Console's use a certain type of 'always on' hard drive? - of which the hard drive in your Deal is not one?, or ...

(Just curious?). :-)

Hey, I'm not 100% on that, but I know Eurogamer were shouting about them as a PS4 Upgrade last year - Here
I guess it's a drive to shortlist if you're looking to go for an internal upgrade. As for implications regarding 'Always on' It's not something I have read about personally being an issue with folks using them (PS4 or XBox one).
