I haven't posted in a while and to be honest I haven' tdone my usual anal research for a better price, so sorry about that. However, I have just seen a freecom 250GB drive go 'expired' on here and I am in the market for a hard drive without mains power. I would normally go for the WesternDigital option as I have always had success with them, however their latest Passport drives are only 160GB for this sort of money. I appreciate that there may be some difference in spec (maybe the cache on this Seagate which is 8MB is less than the WD) however its only for photo and music storage so it won't make that much difference. I think this is a bit fof a steal for a quarter of a terabyte. What do you think. I'd appreciate some good old spec geek feedback if there are any takers.
