Picked one of these at the weekend for £50 (cheers op). Nice drive, very quiet and even at £60 its not too bad.

Sorry, voted cold from me...

You can get a WD USB3.0 1TB HDD from Amazon for £62.99 without paying £20 for a converter (I posted this last month @£63.34 and it went stone cold -…119). Glad I bought it, running at least 3x faster than my old USB 2.0 drive, great drive!

This drive is £3 less but is only USB2.0 or is going to be £17 more with the USB3.0 converter (or £7 more with the original £50 deal) so how's it got so hot?
