If you only need 250GB this is a reasonable deal but 320GB and 500GB drives are only a bit more. the GoFlex idea is interesting - you can buy a USB3 adapter for example though you may be better just buying a portable drive which comes with USB3.

Any Dixons codes / free delivery codes?

I agree, convert the price to a 500gb drive, which would then cost £54 and a 1tb drive would cost £108 (£ for gb).
You can get 1tb portable drives for £79, so unless you just want a small drive or really cant afford more than £27, go for a bigger one.

BTW, £ for gb, this 250gb drive should cost only £19.75.

Standard delivery is free

You can get 1tb portable drives for £79

Where? This sounds just the ticket for my photo-hungry FiL!

Well, here's one here for £75 amazon.co.uk/gp/…-21 You will see a few other links there as well - quite a common price level now.

Search and you will find!

Very hot deal, IMO. Want one, but do I need one?

Ordered one of the webcams - Quidco tracked at 6%.

I have two questions for someone who knows about this device:
1. Is the standard USB 2.0 "connection module" included in this price?
2. Is it possible to use this SATA connection module to connect other SATA devices to a USB port?
This could prove useful for all those spare SATA drives that a person may have lying around.

1. Yes.
2. Yes:

"The portable connectors are smaller than the desktop models, but they still have a standard SATA fitting, so in an emergency you can use one to connect a bare drive to a USB or eSATA port."

Thanks - mine is ordered. Good price, heat added.

Just ordered,

Had my eye on something like this, either a memory stick or small drive, and this seems like a good price. Always rated Seagate products too.

Just ordered two.
Hopefully, they will work with a Nintendo Wii.

Will this work if filled with films and connected to 360 USB port?

I got one of these a couple of weeks ago from PC World using the 15million giveaway £5 voucher. So paid £29.99. Am very happy with it, comes formatted NTFS with Mac and PC utils but am using it on my Wii Plenty of space for bits and bobs. Complements the black Wii nicely.

anyone know whether this particular unit can be used to swop out a 40gb drive in my ps3?
Just a bit concerned re the integral software on the drive

Got one of these a couple of weeks ago to backup customer data, nice little drive.

I've just added Quidco to the title - it's currently 3%

Thanks Expelliarmus, heat added.
